“Buck-a-Chick” event through ELCA World Hunger.

One dollar is all it takes to provide a family living in poverty with a little chick. Soon, the chick will begin to produce eggs. Its eggs make nutritious, protein-rich meals, and can be sold at the marketplace for income. Chicks help a family fight hunger! 

Color a chick and donate $1 to help us fight hunger. Your colored chicks will be displayed in the fellowship hall. Everyone is asked to participate. 

Add your bucks to the collection jar in the office, fellowship hall, or in the offering plate.  If leaving in the offering plate, please designate for this project. 

Check off a “Chick” from every state!  Encourage your family and friends to color a chick and donate one dollar.  Have them sign their color page with their address and mail it back (w/a $1) to Bethany Church, 320 N Main, Lindsborg, Ks 67456. Upon receipt we will pin a “chick” on every state that participates.  The U.S. Map will be located in the fellowship hall. 

With your help, the Bethany Lutheran congregation and friends can help fight against world hunger. Our goal is to raise $500 starting now until March 31, 2024, Easter Sunday.
